Chris Carvalho is a nature and landscape photographer based in Portland,
Oregon. He works in digital capture, 35mm, medium format, 4x5 format, and
video and is an expert
in digital printing for fine art. His work is gaining
national recognition and is widely sought after by
people looking for unique images of the wilderness landscape. Some of his clients include
National Geographic, The Nature Conservancy,
The National Wildlife Federation, Oregon Council for the Humanities, Oregon
Public Broadcasting, and The
Smithsonian Institution. His work is part of the permanent exhibit
"Our Lives" at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American
